Hudson Elementary is partnering with the American Heart Association by participating in Kids Heart Challenge! Students will be learning to make healthy choices, stay active and help families affected by heart disease. You can register your student by downloading the Kids Heart Challenge app or going to their website (heart.org/schools), finding our school, and signing up. From there, work to complete Finn's Mission to help us save lives. Permission slips do not need to be turned in because the event will happen during their P.E. class and all donations will be raised online and no money/checks will be collected.

-Thank you Gifts: Students receive thank-you gifts when donations are submitted online.

-Color Blast: We will do the Color Blast as an incentive again this year. If a student raises $60 they will throw the color on Mr. Sampson, $100 on Mr. Sampson and Mr. Dent and $150 or more on Mr. Sampson, Mr. Dent and the mystery person. 

-Extra Recess: Primary and intermediate classes who raise the most money will get an Extra Recess from me.

-Glow Stick Party: We will have a Glow Stick Party on 2/20 for any student who raises money.

-Denver Nuggets: Every student who raises $50 will qualify to purchase discounted tickets and get a special ON COURT experience with the Denver Nuggets.

-Super Bowl Tickets: Each student or staff member who completes Finn's Mission earns a chance to win two tickets to Super Bowl LXI in 2027. For every 18 participants who complete Finn's Mission, our school will also be entered to win a $10,000 fitness equipment makeover.

January 12th: Kickoff Assembly and information will go home. 

February 8th: Donations Due! The American Heart Association will gladly accept late donations that are submitted after the deadline but late donations will not count toward thank you gifts, the glow stick party or the color blast.

February 12th: The A classes have their Kids Heart Challenge event during P.E. class.

February 17th: The B classes have their Kids Heart Challenge event during P.E. class. 

February 20th: We will have a glow stick party for any student who raises money.
